At Northern Arizona Service Dogs, we train service dogs for PTSD survivors with the utmost seriousness and rigor based on our understanding that these canine workers are extremely likely to be called upon to save the life of their human handler, as well as other people the handler might be in contact with when a PTSD episode occurs.
PTSD Service Dog Training
Service dogs for PTSD assist their human handlers in many ways beyond providing loving support, unconditional acceptance and therefore, naturally therapeutic anxiety reduction.
